The cravings are gone. It is such a good feeling. Do I still miss food? Yes. Am I thinking of food al the time? No. Am I still planning Saturdays meals? No. I can even cook for my son without feeling hungry and being tempted to taste some. Apparently day four is called the juice high day and I have to agree.
The mornings are working well now. I know how to prepare everything the best way, where to put it so it is easy to find and clean up and how to clean the juicer the fastest way possible.
Sometimes I start to have a bit of a headache. Now I have learned the minute I drink water it’s getting better. So I have a glass of water in front of me all the time – I just need to remember to drink it.
One great news is that my stomach feels smaller. I have no prove is it, but it’s a good feeling. I guess that was bound to happen – since I have not eaten solid food for four days the gut has to be empty now. Tomorrow night I will do a check up to see what my scale tells me. Are there any changes from the numbers I had?
- Don’t quit! Even when it feels hard, remember it’s getting better.
- Remember to drink lots of water. Have a bottle or glass in front of you – this is the best reminder you can have. After these five days keep this habit. Most of us drink far too little and by now you have started a good habit.
- Plan your schedule well. Make sure you are going to drink the juices regularly. If you don’t you are going to feel hungry and be tempted to stop juicing.
- If needed; eat half of avocado with some drops of lime. Make sure you eat for the right reasons. For example, if you are dehydrated you might have a sensation of hunger. Drink a glass of water.
